Collini was founded in 1898 by Damiano Collini as a workshop for sharpening scissors. Collini immigrated from Mortaz in Trentino to Vorarlberg, Austria, where he soon began manufacturing cutlery and tableware. In 1989, A. Collini Besteck-Tafelgeräte Ges.mbH was sold to Berndorf AG in Berndorf, Lower Austria. This is a lovely little silver-plated cream jug. The cream jug is classic in style and is a beautiful collector's item, often used as a miniature milk jug or for cream with an individual cup of coffee. It can be safely assumed that it was made in the middle of the last century.
