The Eschenbach porcelain factory was founded in 1889 in Triptis, Thuringia, Germany, by Carl Schumann. It later moved to Windischeschenbach, Bavaria. Eschenbach became known for producing high-quality porcelain dinnerware and decorative items, often featuring elegant designs and gilded accents. The company's production spanned much of the 20th century. This particular teacup by "Eschenbach Bavaria", dates from the mid-20th century, a period when such fine porcelain was popular for tea services.
