This vintage German porcelain trio (cup, saucer, and dessert plate) dates back to the 1960s from the GDR era. The porcelain blank was manufactured by the renowned Lichte Porzellan factory in Thuringia as part of their "Riga" series. It was then exquisitely decorated by the Carl Wilhelm & Co. art studio in nearby Deesbach, featuring the desirable "Handgemalt" (hand-painted) mark. The set showcases a vibrant, hand-painted Alpine gentian flower framed by an elegant green rim. Featuring dual backstamps, this collectible mid-century set perfectly combines high-quality German craftsmanship with fine artistic heritage.
